Comes to focus pretty fine
All of a sudden the eyepiece speaks
And a distant world quietly greets
Love, for love it be
Glides through the mares merrily
Up the shadowy crater circles
Down to the valley centers
Near the pole an impact visible
Talks of the past incredible
Thus the locked sphere crosses night
While love mine radiates bright
The moon's grace lovingly falls
On her too whom my heart calls
The one with a black mark
And those shining eyes dark
Somewhere down south
Hidden in the metropolitan couth
When she looks up at me sometimes
In dreams with those melodious hymns
Of love and love echoing through
She is the moon with the sunny hue
And for them my love is rife
The two moons of my life
The two moons of my life!
Such a sweet poem. (^▽^)
